A migrant from Guerrero had lived almost 20 years in the USA when he was arrested due to an incident with a neighbor in Iowa. After nearly dying in jail of a heart attack or embolism, he signed for his voluntary return to Mexico in 2008. Back in Guerrero, he ended up getting displaced because of organized crime. After relocating to Mexico State, he and his wife and daughter decided to try to obtain asylum in the US, but their case was declined. Now he feels desperate.
