Raufzak is a former soccer player and seamstress originally from Togo, Africa, currently living in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil. Through his business venture, “Raufzak Tezidos Africanos,” he and his girlfriend make a living by selling garments made with fabrics from Africa. In this first part, he shares some biographical details, his journey through the African continent, and his cultural connection to Brazil, especially through his profession: soccer. This is the prelude to a life as a seamstress in the city with the largest population of African descent in the Americas.
