Olwitchneider Sainclair is a Haitian student at the Federal University of Bahia, located in the city of Salvador, Brazil. Sainclair, as he calls himself in artistic circles. He is also a painter, singer, and multilingual speaker (Kreyol, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, French, Portuguese, and English). His narrative recounts two central elements: 1) the difficulties he has experienced during his migration from Haiti, and 2) the benefits he has found along the way, primarily related to his participation in artistic spaces. Sainclair tells this story during the presentation of his work for the First Lady and the Minister of Culture of Brazil.
