Guadalupe’s dream was to come to the U.S. to see her siblings being that she had not seen them for twelve years and they couldn’t go back to Mexico. She receivedaVisa and came with her family, but ended up overstayingher Visa because she wanted a better future for herself and her family. Her situation is better now that her kids are going to college and she has a Greencard, however now, she is facing her husband's illness along with financial problems due to the Medi-Cal system and language barrier.
