Family separation

Violeta narrates how she came to the United States at sixteen years oldand the harsh working conditions that she had to endure. After forming afamily with two children, Violeta was arrested on a bus. Faced with threats of deportation, she decides to voluntarily return to Mexico with her children. After five years of her return, her husband remains in the United States undocumented and she hopes to get a visa to visit himsoon.
