Siney Medina tells the story of his journey from his home in Honduras through Guatemala to Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico. Medina began this journey for political and economic reasons. He dedicates his journey to his daughter, Stacy. He hopes to make it to theUnited States to send money to Stacy in order to provide her the life that he didn’t have. His narrative illustrates the augmented militarization and corruption at the Mexico/Guatemala border.
