Mr. Jesús Sosa Guerra tells us how he left his native Honduras for the United States in 1984, working in the fields of California. In 1990 he became a permanent resident of the United States. He wanted to become a Citizen in Los Angeles, California, but because he did not speak English, he did not pass the exam. Then he goes to Tampa Florida where he lives for more than ten years and applies again for US citizenship and that is where he is detained since his residency documents had expired for two months and his ordeal begins and he is deported. With great sentiment he says, “I make this complaint, please investigate my case,” since he feels like they did him an injustice and wants to recover the benefits he had in the United States.
