Magda arrives in Los Angeles from Acapulco, leaving a little girl behind in Mexico. Due to economic reasons, she decides to migrate and in the United States, after a while, she gets married and has three more children. Due to her husband’s work issues, they move to Oregon. After the death of her husband, the situation becomes even more difficult for her, worried about the education and the future of her family. Magda takes stock of all those years: she regrets not having been able to take her Mexican daughter and invites those who migrate to have a positive attitude, to learn the language and to respect US laws.
