In the second part of her narrative, Kimberley relates the turning point in her life when she met a man who offered to rent her a roomand take care of her. Eventually, she fell into a relationship with him and they had another baby. Unfortunately, at this time, Honduras’s biggest gang, the MaraSalvatrucha, entered her neighborhood. Her boyfriend began to work with them and they took over her house. Kimberley’s boyfriend suffered from drug addiction, threatened to kill her, and she had to leave the increasingly dangerous situation. Kimberley took refuge in a church, but from there, she witnessed unspeakable gang violence and eventually fled to Mexico leaving her sons in the hands of family members. In Mexico, she hopes to find stability and to eventually bring her two sons to a place where they can live a safe and peaceful life. *Viewer discretion is advised*
