Mary has traveled from Ecuador with her two young children: Matías and Carlitos, with the intention of reaching Minneapolis. After a journey that took them through various Central American countries, they were detained by the Mexican immigration authorities, unable to reach the border as promised. Both Mary and Matías tell their impressions of that journey: she feels relieved because despite her setbacks, she never separated from her two children. Matías talks about how much she liked the nature in Guatemala and her joy for having skated for the first time in Mexico City. Both of them express their confidence to continue their journey to the United States to fulfill their dreams.
